Wayne E. Cunningham's Obituary
Wayne E. Cunningham Wayne passed away peacefully at home on April 26, 2008. He was surrounded by his family. Wayne was born on April 3, 1924 in Hugoton, KS, and moved with his family to Olympia when he was two years old. After high school, he joined the US Navy and served aboard the US Miller DD535 until 1946. He graduated from UPS in 1950 and retired from WA State DSHS in 1988. He and Yvonne treasured their retirement years spent traveling and spending time with family. Wayne is survived by his loving wife (Yvonne) of 53 years, four children, Donna (Dale), Linda (Jay), Brad (Teresa) and Rod, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and his brother Cecil of Eugene, OR. Services will be held May 2, 2008 at 2:00pm at Mountain View Funeral Home in the Garden Chapel.
