I am so sad to hear this news but know that he lived a life full of grace and love for his family. As a friend of Sarah’s, I relished dinners at the Daheim’s. Daily devotions and prayers given from Mr. Daheim before the meal, lifted my spirits and gave me a lasting impression about what a dad was suppose to look like. My prayers are for the family that lost a lovely soul. May his memories live on as you grieve.

Dad would bring us down to Parkland about every other Sunday to visit "The Tacoma Daheims". The first thing through the door at Aunt Betty and Uncle Bud's usually consisted of cheek squeezing and nose squishing by Uncle Bud. Though he had so many of kids of his own, he still always seemed delighted to see his nieces. And we were happy to be there. I always think of those arrivals when I think of Uncle Bud -- filled with exuberance and fun. Rest In Peace, Uncle Bud. Say "hi" to Dad and Barb for me. We miss them so.
