Warren Barry Anderson
Loving and faithful husband of 56 years, devoted father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Warren went to be with the Lord on Aug. 10th, after an extended illness. Warren was born in Aberdeen, WA on April 27th, 1926 to T. Murray and Helen Anderson. He graduated from Stadium HS in 1944 and served 2 years in the army. After attending UPS and photography school he worked for the Tacoma News Tribune as a news photographer for 30 years. He married his wife Geralyn in 1953 and raised 3 children. They traveled the US and Europe and had many adventures. Warren was known for his humor, artistic abilities and adventurous spirit. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church for 40 years and sang in the choir. He was a skilled photographer and potter and enjoyed bicycling. He is survived by his wife Geralyn; children: David (Kitty), Dan, Louise (Ted); grandchildren: Elisha, Israel, Esther, Joshua, Jake, and Kyle; nephews, nieces and cousins. A viewing will be held on Aug. 22, 9-11:15 followed by a graveside service at 11:30 at Mountain View Funeral Home; 4100 Steilacoom Blvd., Tacoma. A memorial service will be held on Aug. 22 at 2:30p.m. at Grace Baptist Church; 2507 N. Vassault, Tacoma. Donations to: Parkinsons Research and Grace Baptist Church
