Wanda Louise Phelps' Obituary
Wanda Louise Phelps, 72 of Fircrest, Washington passed away on January 9th, 2021. She was born on December 28th, 1948 to William Bryant Phelps and Mildred Ruth Kelso in Copperas Cove, Texas. She instantly brought joy and love into the world. Twelve years later, her sister Wendy Lorraine arrived and immediately Wanda became a proud and protective big sister. Wanda was proud of her established military family and enjoyed all the experiences that came with it. Living in Japan and Hawaii were a few of her favorites
Wanda was a fiercely dedicated and loving mother, family always came first. In 2002, Wanda moved to San Antonio, Texas, to be closer to her sister and father where they shared some special time and had many adventures. After her father passed away in 2018, Wanda returned to Washington to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. Wanda was a proud Texan at heart!
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Phelps as well as her sister, Wendy Lorraine Phelps. Wanda is survived by her daughters Kristi Perry (Corey) of Fircrest, WA and Michele Wishard (Gordon) of Seattle, WA. Granny Wanda is also survived by her pride and joy, her grandchildren, her "babies"- Miles Perry(11), Scarlett Perry(9) and Watson Wishard(5). She leaves behind many lifelong friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. The love Wanda had for her family and friends was insurmountable and she will be terribly missed.

Memorial Services will be held in Thompsonville, Texas and Tacoma, Washington and will be announced at a future date.
