Wanda Claudine Bounds' Obituary
Wanda C. Bounds May 10, 1930 - April 14, 2020
Wanda passed peacefully on April 14, 2020. Wanda was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was the most considerate, selfless person we have ever known. She consistently put her family first, rarely ever thinking of herself. She was the bedrock of our family from whom we all gathered our strength. We are blessed to have had her in our lives and we will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by Jim, her loving husband of 46 years. Survivors include daughters, Barbara Hadland (Gary), Cathie Penrose (Jack), Becky Thompson, and Sandy Bounds (Joe): grandchildren Erik, Kristen, and Ryan Hadland, Alex Mowre and great grandson Fox Mowre.
Wanda, one of thirteen children, was born in Texas to James and Lucille Easterling. Surviving siblings include Ginny, Ruth, Peggy, Ruby, Mattie, Jack , and Janie.
