Walter William Waisath's Obituary
Walter William Waisath Walt was born in Pratt, KS on 10/25/1915 and passed away last Wednesday in Tacoma, WA, his home for the last 50 years. Walt served proudly in the US Army during World War II (in the Phillipines) and was a Korean War and Vietnam-era veteran. Retiring after 21 years in the Army, Walt was employed as a transit operator for the city of Tacoma for 16 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Viola, son Walter Jr. (Linda), daughter Helen Minter, grandchildren Wade, Lisa, and Walter III, and seven great-grandchildren. Walt loved to bowl, canoe, read, play cards, and watch the Mariners. A service will be held in the Mountain View Garden Chapel May 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm.
