Walter L. Cummings' Obituary
Walt was a great outdoor sportsman, hunting, saltwater sport fishing and later commercial fishing at Westport, WA. One of the best auto and boat mechanics, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. The right way was the only way in his ventures. He was an active member in Swedish Order of Valhalla, and also a member of the Puyallup Eagles, Aerie No. 2308. After retiring he would meet with his buddies in the Â"local office.Â" Walt had a great personality that attracted many friends. He was beloved husband and sweetheart to surviving wife Genevieve, father to Kathie and Kenneth, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is survived also by his sister, Carolyn Calhoun (Richard) and brother Robert Cummings (Cindy), many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.Viewing will be held from 1:00 to 9:00 PM, Sunday, August 14, 2005. Viewing will also be held from 9:00 AM until the graveside service starts at 2:30 PM on Monday, August 15, 2005, at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
