Walter T. Kluss' Obituary
Walter Kluss
Walt was born in Tacoma, Washington to Minnie and Adam Kluss. The family moved to Portland, Oregon when he was a little boy. He worked for many years in the wholesale florist industry but as the industry changed he eventually went to work for TriMet (Portland’s public transportation services), where he retired in 2010. His passion in life was classic cars. His pride and joy had been his 1955 Chevy Bel Air. He loved attending all kinds of car shows and swap meets and collected memorabilia that had nostalgic appeal to him. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara (Rossos). He is survived by sister Nancy (Beaverton, OR), nieces Lynn Boyanovsky (Kim) of Portland, Cheryl O'Niel (Dan) of Petersburg, Alaska, and nephew Steve Davis (Petersburg, Alaska) and their families. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, Oregon Humane Society or DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital (in Portland, OR).
