Walter D. "Bajoe" Jackson's Obituary
Our family Patriarch, Walter Don Jackson 74, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife Sherri after an extended illness on the morning of March 6, 2016.
Walter was was born to Claude Jackson and Ossia (Ossie) Bronson on October 7, 1941 in Monessen, PA. where he was affectionately known as "Bajoe"
He was preceded in death by both parents and his sister Patricia (Pat) Harris.
Those honored to have shared in his life are his wife of 51 years Sherri Lea Jackson, son Walter Don Jackson II, daughters Dawn Marie Jackson (deceased),Tiva D. Jackson (Les), Tiffani Calloway (Terry), and Rachelle Adams, grandchildren Micah Wells (GeGe), Malika Dawn Wells, Namon Walter Wells, Ayana Cain, Joseph Cain III and Jomicia Kidd, 11 great-grandchildren, cousins Barry Bronson, William Bronson Jr. and several family members in the Pittsburgh area, a host of honorary daughters, extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank our many friends and extended family for your ongoing support and St. Francis Hospital, Avalon Care Center and Foundation House for the care you provided to our loved one.

Family will receive family and friends for a visitation at 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Mountain View Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Mountain View Funeral Home, Celebration of Life Center, Aspen Chapel, on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10:00 AM. A committal graveside with military honors present will immediately follow.
