Walter Feiring's Obituary
Walter Norman Feiring Born in Duluth, MN, Dec. 28, 1924, a proud Norwegian. Passed away peacefully Dec.22, 2012. He moved to Seattle at age 16, enlisted in the Navy at 18-an honored WWII Veteran. He married Rodonna Doolittle on June 21, 1952 and just celebrated 60 yrs of marriage. They settled in Tacoma, had 5 children: Rebecca Carpenter (Dean), Jeff (Deanna), Gretchen Beckman (Dan), Wendy Denny (Ken) and Greg. They have 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A valued employee, he worked at Simpson/St. Regis for 30 yrs. Family was very important to our Daddy. He loved gardening, his road trips with Momma and was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran.
A memorial Celebration of Walter's life will be held Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at 11am at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Tacoma, WA.
