Walter C. Minch's Obituary
Walter was born on May 29, 1922 in Tacoma, and passed away Oct 28, 2005. He proudly served in the Merchant Marines. Walter enjoyed working in his garden, where he grew both vegetables and flowers with gusto. He greatly loved his dogs. Garage sales were also a passion of WalterÂ's.He worked for Foss Tug, Boeing, and Alaska State Ferries.He is survived by his son, Stephen Minch; daughter, Kandus Rose (Marvin); granddaughters, Kimberly Rose and Heather Gnaien; sisters: Erika Carlisle (Jim), OÂ'Linda Loe (Dan), Olga Filley (Alfred), and Gloria Lewis (Kenneth); as well as brother, Rudolph Minch.In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Mountain View Lutheran Church Endowment Fund.Memorial services will be held at 12:30 PM, Saturday, Nov 5, 2005, in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
