Vivian "Noreen" Williams' Obituary
Vivian "Noreen" WilliamsAge 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 4, 2007 while surrounded by her loving family. Noreen was born on March 28, 1927 in Tacoma, Washington (Parents: Lester S. Gunhus & Molly Miller Gunhus) then later moved and resided most of her life at Puyallup South Hill. She had worked twenty dedicated years at the Puyallup Fair, with a strong love of the Carrousel and the sounds of laughing children. Noreen was also a member of the Pierce Co. React - Seniors Against Crime and performed five years of volunteer service to both the Tacoma Police Dept. and Pierce Co. Sheriffs Office. She also belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary VFW 969 and a long time member of the Puyallup Eagles Fraternity 2308. Noreen was especially proud to be a member of the Historical Society (Germans from Russia) with her favorite hobby of doing genealogy family research and helping others find missing relatives and ancestors.Mom lived a full life, with a strong sense of family values and Christian faith. She was deeply loved by all her family and touched many hearts along the way. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur D. Williams and son Wallace A. Henricksen. Noreen is survived by her loving daughter Wendy D. Rivard of Puyallup; a son Robert A. (Sue) Henricksen of Bonney Lake; 4 grandchildren: Brandon M. Rivard; Brandi M. (Ernie) Long; Chad R. (Jessica) Henricksen, and Christina L. Henricksen. Also 4 great-grandchildren: Michelle; Rachel; Ernie, Jr.; and Alivia, plus many cousins and friends.Viewing will be held from 1:00-9:00, TODAY, November 7, 2007 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 8, 2007 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel.
