Vivian Jeannette Tresham's Obituary
Went home to the Lord September 16, 2007. Born April 14, 1925 to Jasper and Velma Young in Camp Lewis, Washington. She Entered the Army Air Corp in 1945. She met and married Roger M. Tresham who also served in the Army Air Corp, Hamilton AFB, California in 1946. She was a lifetime member of the Pacific Peaks Girl Scouts and attended the Community of Christ Church. She raised four daughters, traveled with her husband for 30 years in the military. Hobbies were cooking, sewing, volunteering with PTA and Girl Scouts. In later years she supported the Graceland University international outreach program by sewing blankets and health care baby seats.She was a very loving and generous woman, always ready to listen and help when she could. Her faith in the Lord made her very special to all.She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Susan. She leaves behind daughters Patricia, Deborah, and Jennifer; grandchildren Sheila, Pollyanne, Melissa, Sean, Timothy, Stephanie, Seth, and Liesel; great-grandchildren Chrystal, Tiffany, Jesse, and Jaelyn; and sister Harriet Newsham.Visitation will be from 11:00 am-9:00 pm on Monday, September 24, 2007 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am, Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Mountain View Memorial Park, with a celebration of life following at12:30 pm at the Community of Christ Church, 6912 40th St. W. in Tacoma.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pacific Peaks Girl Scouts.
