Vivian Frances (Wheeler) VolkJanuary 10, 1934 to September 12, 2004Vivian was born on January 10th, 1934 in Tacoma, WA and passed away peacefully Sunday morning, September 12th at the age of 70 in her home in Puyallup with her family around her.She dedicated her life and love to her husband and children. She was always loving, giving and kind to all who knew her. Her lifeÂ's greatest joys were her children and grandchildren, watching them grow and achieve, always a teacher of love, peace, and faith. She enjoyed her beautiful flower gardens and the joy they brought to those around her. She loved the roar of the ocean waves, and the warm breeze upon her face. She was the inspiration of her family and of those whose hearts she had touched. Her strength was unquestionable.Vivian was preceded in death by her mother Freeda (Klippert) Rosenoff and her father Roger Wheeler.She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Valentine (Val) Volk; brother Charles Wheeler; six children, Richard (Kim) Edwards, Tina Volk, Brenda (Dave) Westmark, Brian, Jason, and Christopher Volk; grandchildren, Kori (Devon) Koch, John and Megin Steiner, Sierra Westmark, Devon Volk, Amy and Todd Curtis, Dean Westmark; and great-grandchildren, Kyle, Conner, Mason Koch.Vivian also leaves behind many members of her extended family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge Amy Bruun who was very special to Vivian, and whom Vivian thought of as one of her children.Viewing will be held on Friday, September 17, 2004 from 11 am to 9pm. Funeral mass will be at 10 am, Saturday, September 18, 2004 at St. John of the Woods Catholic Church.
