Virginia Ginny Trimble's Obituary
Virginia (Ginny) Trimble
On January 13, 2015, Mom left us to be with Dad. Now, after 15 years alone, she has her partner back as well as many old friends in that ever growing club Heavenly Squares. She can also get back to her second passion out on the golf course. Mom left us peacefully in her sleep after a day surrounded by her family.
Virginia Trimble was born on November 24, 1919 to William and Ethel Wainwright in Tacoma. She graduated from Stadium High School in 1939 and married her sweetheart, Kenn Trimble, on February 27, 1942. They had four children; sons Bill (Pat), Kim (Sue), Tom (Marie) and daughter Kathy (Frank) Chase. She had 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenn and her three siblings Elizabeth Lindstrom, Charles and William Wainwright.
Ginny and Kenn were very involved in the square dance world--too many jobs to list. But one of their proudest achievements was being General Chairmen for the 1969 National Square Dance Convention in Seattle.
She will be missed by so many and would want you all to be happy and healthy. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your area Alzheimer’s Association in her name. (http://alz.org)
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 8th at 2:30pm, Wesley Terrace, 816 S. 216th St., Des Moines, Washington.
