Virginia T. Fulton's Obituary
Virginia Thomas Fulton passed away at the age of 86 at Heartwood Care Center on Tuesday, May 27, 2003. She was born in Tacoma, May 3, 1917, and lived here all of her life. She attended Tacoma Public Schools. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel L. Fulton, 1975Virginia is survived by three children, Merrilinn (Joe) Zeppa of Seattle, Donna (Kristofer) Tyson of Wenatchee, and David (Deborah) Fulton of New Jersey. She is also survived by her sister, Jean M. Thomas of Tacoma; 4 grandchildren, Virginia Angert of Maryland, Daniel Fulton of New Jersey, Nicholas Zeppa of Seattle, and Abigail Fulton of New Jersey; and two great-grandchildren, Daniell Angert and Joseph Angert of Maryland. Virginia was first and foremost a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In later years, she resumed her interest in writing and enjoyed expressing her memories as a mother and grandmother. One of her stories was published in The News Tribune. She lived for many years in the home that they built in north Tacoma. She also lived at Tahoma Vista Village, the Kensington, and for the past year, at Franciscan Care Center.A graveside service will be held at 1:30pm, Friday, May 30, 2003 at Mt. View Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held 3pm, Friday, May 30, 2003 in the private dining room at the Peoples Retirement Community, 1800 East 67th Street, Tacoma, 474-1741In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Franciscan Hospice, 3901 S.
