Virginia Louis Sharlow
was born November 19th 1939 to parents Leola & Adam Shallow in Wisconsin. Was one of seven children. Virginia also known as Kay & Nana by so many people, she moved to Tacoma, WA at the age of three. Virginia married at the age of 17 to Felix Manzanares. Virginia and Felix had one daughter born on May 20th 1957, they named the daughter Deborah Lynn Manzanares(formerly known as Deborah Johnson). Virginia and her family lived most of their lives here in Tacoma, WA. She worked at her local neighborhood Safeway for over 30 years and retired at the age of 55. She spent the rest of her years giving loving support to her daughter and four wonderful grandchildren; Trisha, Joshua, Samuel & Simon Johnson( Children of Deborah & Paul Johnson). Virginia was a wonderful and unique woman who found a special way to touch everyone she met, leaving a lasting impact in their lives. She loved and gave whole heartedly up onto her very last days. Virginia was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and best friend.
Virginia Louis Sharolow passed away in her sleep unexpectedly January 16th 2014 around 3:00AM. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that can never be forgotten. Along with a large extended family; Deborah Manzanares, grandchildren Trish Simatic, Joshua Johnson, Samuel Johnson, Simon Johnson, sisters Charlene McMullan, Rose Lenke, brothers Ervin Sharlow, Lyle Sharlow, great-grandchildren Jordyn Simatic, Jaxson Simatic, Logan Johnson, Sahara and Aurora Johnson.
