Virginia J. Potts' Obituary
Virginia J. Potts, age 79, passed away Oct. 11, 2018 at her home in Surprise, AZ. She was born in Seattle, WA but had roots in Minneota, MN. Virginia attended Lincoln High School where she met her future husband through a mutual friend. "Ginny", as her Dad & siblings called her, worked at Frisbees Barkery in Tacoma, WA for 27 years while her & Gary raised their three children. She was also a shrewd business woman who, with Gary, owned & operated a contracting company for 10 years and later, Teapotts Cafe with daughter-in-law, Val. Gary built their house in Puyallup, while Virginia lovingly made it their home. The last 18 years they were Snowbirds living in Arizona. They enjoyed a life of sun, fun, friends and being Champion Bocce ball players in the local league.
Her death is preceded by her parents, Alben & Arlet Olson and her siblings Almira, Alben, Pearl and Charlie. Virginia is survived by her husband, Gary and their three children Gary Lynn, Sherri, Wayne and daughters-in-law, Valerie & Lisa. Also by her five grandchildren Chad, Danelle, her grandson-in-law, Joe, Seanna, Aaron & Alex, as well as her two great grandsons Kaden & Hudson. In addition, her sisters Gloria & Arlemae and their families.
Virginia will be missed by and is loved by her family and many friends.
