Virginia Mildred Anderson's Obituary
Jimmie passed away after a long illness in her Fircrest home. She was a lifetime resident of Tacoma and Fircrest.She was born in her first home in Tacoma on October 3, 1921. She passed away at her second home in Fircrest of 51 years on August 17, 2003.She battled two illnesses since childhood. With her courage she won. She was fortunate to be a snowbird with her husband, John, for 20 years. She was a homemaker and loved her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed Bingo and dancing. She is survived by her husband, John H. of 55 years; 2 daughter, Becky Johnson (Dave) and Paula Williams (Chuck); 2 sisters, Jerry Everhart and Francis Tracy; nephew, Jerry Lambert; sister-in-law, Billie Norton; 5 grandchildren, Molly Williams, Justin Williams (Maritsa), Cherise Glass (Craig), Grant Johnson, and Philip Johnson; as well as many other nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 21, 2003 at the Mt. View Celebration of Life Building.
