Virginia Lee "Ginny" Ferrias' Obituary
Virginia “Ginny” Lee Ferrias, 77, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on July 10, 2014 in Puyallup, WA.
She was born November 19, 1936 in Rice Lake, WI to Harry and Melvina V. (Robarge) Amans.
Ginny worked as a Telecom Analyst Supervisor for Sundstrand Aerospace for 32 years in Rockford, Illinois.
Following her retirement and the death of her husband Irving Ferrias Jr. she moved from Illinois to Oregon and then Washington to spend time and travel with her beloved sisters. She settled in Puyallup WA in 2007.
She loved traveling, from her boating vacations with her husband Irv, vacations with her children and grandchildren, to traveling all over the world with her adventurous sisters.
Ginny’s legacy was seeing her grandkids grow up to be such fine young people, and seeing her children all together again. She was dearly loved and we will always cherish her memory, and her adventurous, strong spirt! She is survived by daughters Debra Hamilton and Marie (Tom) Kemp; son Michael (Linda) Ryan; grandchildren Katie (Troy) Graves, Mackenzie Ryan, Becca (Kevin) Phillips, Theresa (Bryan) Kemp, Nate Hamilton, Matthew Hamilton and two great grandchildren Sophia Graves and Greyson Hamilton, also her sisters Lavonne Brunette and Lolly (Joe) Amans and brother Fred Amans;
The family held an intimate celebration of her life ceremony at her home on Sunday, July 13, 2014 in Puyallup, WA. Where she requested “laughter and remembering all the good and naughty times”.
