Dear family, I still am dealing with the shock of losing my sister Virginia. Even though we lived many miles apart we kept in close touch through weekly phone calls. Virginia suffered a lot of physical pain the last few years. I will miss her all the rest of my days on earth. God Bless you during this difficult time. Izetta ( Barbara )
Dear Uncle Jim, cousins & family members: I will ALWAYS remember Aunt Virginia's laughter, also her funny, and sometimes, stern comments. I met her for the very first time when I was 10 years old and it will always be her laughter and surprise that my dad (her brother George Fardis) brought his family to Tacoma for a visit. She and Uncle Jim were the very first people to take me, my siblings and parents to Disneyland, and for that I will always be grateful for the precious childhood memories! She had a heart of gold to me, my only regret is I never got to know her more. Now she no longer suffers in pain and no more tears, she is spending precious time with her brothers and sisters who have gone on before and gracing them once again with her laughter. Laugh on Auntie!

Dear Uncle Jim and cousins, I was very shocked to get the phone call from my sister Christine to let me know aunt Virginia passed. I remember the good times we all had when you came down to my mom's in the Motorhome and we went to Mexico TJ. I will miss her terribly she always remembered me on my Birthday and I always loved receiving a card from her...
Dear Uncle Jim and cousins, I was shocked when mom called me yesterday morning to tell me that Aunt Virginia had passed away. I remember your wedding with us all in the yellow dresses, and her taking us out to eat for our birthdays, I felt so grown up when she let me have a Shirley Temple to drink. I will always remember the holiday times we spent together. Mom has kept me informed of Virginia's physical issues the last couple of years but her passing was so unexpected. I will keep you all in my thoughts as you go through the grieving process. I know this is going to be difficult but now she is no longer in pain. Take Care of Yourselves.

Mom you were always a hard teacher but you gave me so much and I just wish I had had the chance to say goodbye! You and dad Adopted me at almost 2 yrs old and I will always know that you wanted me and loved me like no one else ever could. With you I always knew and will know I was wanted and I hope I can grow to be as good a parent as you were! Goodbye mom!
