Violet May is a Tacoma native who has called Bonney Lake home for the last 35 years. She worked as a waitress and bartender and spent her last 20 working years as a cook at Alfred's in Tacoma, Washington. After retiring her greatest love was her home and her yard. Violet May had frequent -Å"meetings- with her beloved dog to decide on the next project for her daughters and grandchildren -" you knew if you were invited to a BBQ you should bring work gloves and a shovel! She loved thrifting and was sure to touch every item in each store a few times before deciding which treasure she had to have. Violet May loved to travel and was especially fond of boating despite her inability to swim and her fear of the water. She believed life was an adventure to live to the fullest, loved to be around people and was quick with her wit and a smile. Violet May was a great mom, a wonderful sister and a loyal friend who loved completely, lived fully and will be missed greatly by all she leaves behind.
