Violet Knittel's Obituary
Violet June Knittel, 87 years old, joined our Lord and Savior on June 21st, 2022.
Violet was born in Laurel, Montana on May 21st, 1935, to George and Pauline Stroh. Vi was the oldest of two children. Her family moved to Tacoma, WA where she graduated from Lincoln High School in 1953. She worked as an office assistant, at the local Lincoln car dealership. She met her future husband, Rene Knittel, at Zion Lutheran Church where they married January 15th, 1960.They resided in Tacoma where they raised two children. Vi was very active, in the church, and loved teaching Sunday school. Ceramics and sewing were some of her favorite hobbies.
Violet is survived by her two children, Dale (Teresa), Cindy (John), 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Preceding Violet in death, husband Rene, brother Leonard, and 2 grandchildren.
