Violet A. Bails
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Violet Bails, 59, went home to glory on August 17, 2012. She was born January 23, 1953 to the late Ester and Maxine James. Being one of nine children, Violet grew up primarily in Tacoma, Washington. She met Wendell O. Hutchings and maintained a twenty year relationship. Violet ended her profession as a Unit Manager in Performance and Risk Analytics. (Frank Russell Company) (Bank of New York Mellon)
Violet loved the Lord and began attending church at an early age. She also had Masonic affiliation and belonged to several organizations including Olympic Chapter #2 and Starlight Court #7. She had the distinct pleasure of serving as Most Ancient Grand Matron for Prince Hall Grand High Court, Heroines of Jericho State of Washington and Jurisdiction and elected to serve as the Grand Loyal Lady Ruler for the Order of the Golden Circle, Grand Assembly for Oregon and Washington State. Her hobbies included Arts & Crafts, cooking, baking, and trying new recipes. She also enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Violet leaves to cherish her memory Wendell O. Hutchings, C. Margaret James Henderson, Lloyd C. James, Thalmers Ray James, Michael James, Tammy James Clark, and Mark James. She was preceded in death by Kenneth J. James and Sylvester (Don) James.
Viewing and Masonic Services will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, August 24, 2012 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, August 25, 2012 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
