Victoria Ruth Lacy's Obituary
Victoria (Vicki) Ruth Lacy was born September 26, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Nana P. Watkins. She passed away December 11, 2010 in Tacoma, Washington, where her family was relocated. Vicki, as she was affectionately known, was always a hard worker. Although she did many things, her passion was caring for others. She worked over twenty years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She cared intensely, and was a very special Angel of God. Anyone who knew Vicki knew that she loved her grandbabies, long drives to anywhere, and the water. Just being near the water was very calming and reflective for her.
Vicki leaves to honor her memory daughters Alicisia Jackson and Andr a McKinney, four grandchildren, Gemishia, Yonaia, Mazzar Jr.,and Zamaree, one great-grandchild, Jordan, her mother, two sisters, Dawn and Ateten, one niece, Ebone`, and a host of family and friends. Vicki was preceded in death by her father Robert Jackson February 8, 1995.
A memorial celebration will be held at 1:00 PM, January 8, 2011, at the Sharon McGavick Student Center & Conference Facility, 4500 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA 98499 (Clover Park Tech. College), Bldg. 23, RM 301. Casual Dress, with Repass to follow.
