Victoria Drewett's Obituary
Victoria Leopoldine Drewett, was born in Vienna, Austria to Johann and Amalia Maria Steininger on May 11, 1929, and passed away on August 21, 2013 in Vienna.
Victoria (Dora to her friends in Austria) - a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. An Austrian-American who was very proud of her heritage and children. She was involved with many organizations, especially the handicapped, working tirelessly for those who had no voice of their own. For many years she was president of the Austria Club. She organized the 20th Anniversary of the Club at a sit down banquet at the Fort Lewis Golf Club. Victoria loved opera and the symphony, attending as many as she could. Her last concert was in Seattle in March, where she thoroughly enjoyed the music of Andre Rieu and the Johann Strauss orchestra.
Victoria was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters and her husband Russell. She is survived by her sons Robert (Michele), Edward , and Johann, two daughters, Julia and Lisa (Robert), four grandchildren, John (Valerie), Robert, Erin (Dave), and Stefanie, 10 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be holding a memorial service and reception at the Mountain View Garden Chapel on September 29, 2013 at 11:00 am. Viewing is available starting at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity .
