Victoria 'Vickie" Rae Chappell's Obituary
She passed peacefully in her sleep and out of pain. Vickie was battling various health issues including lung cancer and atrial fibrillation. Vickie was a beautiful wife of 38 years, a loving mother of 5, grandmother of 7 and a great grandmother of 9.
After working within the medial field for 13 years, she cared for children during the time she lived in Saudi Arabia. In 1994, she became a passionate daycare provider for 18 years before retiring. She cared for each child who came into her care as her own family. Vickie was a delightful person. Most who remember being in her presents remember a lot of laughter and good conversation. She was very kind and warm hearted. She was always thinking of others and trying to help those who need it. She loved children and strived to provide a safe place for children to learn and grow so their parents had peace-of-mind while at work. She was a devoted mother and loving wife. Those who knew Vickie, knew she was a strong woman who held tight to her beliefs. She stayed stubborn and feisty until her passing.
Her family and close friends are celebrating her life on what would have been her birthday.
