Victoria Aileen Buckingham's Obituary
Victoria was born in Oak Harbor, Washington on January 24, 1976, into a Navy family. She passed away in Lakewood, Washington on June 6, 2022, at the age of 46. She attended Oak Harbor Elementary School, Dower Elementary School, Lochburn Middle School and Clover Park High School, graduating in 1994. Victoria had an older sister, Elizabeth and a younger brother, Christopher.
Life after high school included working for Starbucks and then marrying into the Navy. She attended Eaton Technical College to earn a Medical Billing Certificate. She then travelled from Washington to California where her first child, daughter Katherine Turman was born. The family’s next assignment was Hawaii where her son Nathan Turman was born. Returning to Washington, she worked in medical billing briefly and then returned to the Starbucks Coffee Company. It was while working that she pursued her dream of a college degree an enrolled in school while continuing to work full time for the coffee company.
Victoria was a loving and caring mother to Kate and Nathan, teaching the children to read and draw before they began school. Attending as many of their school programs as she could. Her children were always the most important people in her life. She loved them fiercely and was extremely proud of all their accomplishments.
Victoria enjoyed baking, painting and taking yearly road trips to California. Victoria love butterflies and purple was her favorite color for everything.
