Victor V. Santos' Obituary
Victor Vivas Santos, 54 years old, of Tacoma Washington moved on to eternal life Thursday January 11, 2024. He was born October 6, 1969 in Great Lakes Illinois.
The first born of a military family Victor had the opportunity to live in; Great Lakes Illinois, Guam, California, Tennessee, Florida, Virginia, then finally settling and spending the remainder of his life in Tacoma Washington. His father Roland Santos ensured that the family would travel every summer within Victor’s childhood upbringing. Victor along with his siblings would be able to experience multiple cross-country trips, visiting family in Chicago, Virginia, Florida and exploring all the east coast states. He would also spend several summers enjoying the company of family and friends in the Philippines where both of his parents grew up. Victor was a true adventurer and sought for amazing experiences and being with family and friends. In fact his last birthday, despite his physical condition, Victor flew to Tampa Florida to spend his 54th birthday with his nephew RJ whom he has very close relationship with.
Victor was truly the life of every party and get together. Experiencing his laugh, smile, and personality left your heart full. Victor was a true 80’s kid, he loved dancing, singing, and rocking out! If Victor was not drumming a beat to a Twisted Sister’s song then he would be practicing the latest pop locking move in his new pair of parachute pants. His teen and young adult years were filled with laughter, mischief, and fun.
Victor loved his family deeply. Despite his hardships and physical challenges in his latest season of life, Victor had a profound love for all of his kids. He was fortunate enough to personally raise his daughters Nevaeh and Cresencia. Victor gave all he could to his daughters and had a special place in his heart for all of his children.
If there were a way to measure one’s heart and love for others, Victor’s heart measurements would be endless. His love and care for people was angelic. Victor was known among family and close friends to have the biggest heart. He would be willing to give you his last dollar and literally the shirt on his back.
In his recent years of life, despite his challenges with his vision, Victor continued to learn and play his guitars and occasionally performed. When he was not performing, he could be heard almost every Sunday screaming after the Seahawks would make a touch time. His love for music and the Seahawks was evident to all.
Victor’s big personality, joy, and love for others will be greatly missed. He made a tremendous impact to all of his friends and family. Victor lived his life to the fullest. May God’s special blessing and strength be among his survivors and may his life be remembered and honored by his friends and family.
Victor is survived by his daughters, Nevaeh and Cresencia; sons, Devon and Brenden; granddaughter, Harmony; daughter-in-law, Krystie; mother, Cresencia V. Santos; sister, Remy; brothers, Rey and Rowland; brother-in-law, John; sister-in-law, Pamela; nieces, Rosary and Raveena; nephews, RJ and Landon.
