Victor Edwards' Obituary
Victor Girard Edwards (70) was born on March 8th 1949 in Tacoma Washington to William and Margaret Edwards. Victor grew up in the Tacoma area attending Stewart Junior high and Lincoln High school. (Insert pic)
On February 8th, 1967 Victor enlisted in the army at age 17. He served for 3 years as an aircraft Maintenance mechanic and fought in the Vietnam war until he was discharged in 1970. (Insert pic)
Victor started his career as an automotive mechanic and soon after met Mary. They had three beautiful children (Chris), (Jennifer), and (Janet) and got married in Sept 1981. They lived in Tacoma for many years before moving out to Puyallup where they raised their grandson Justin. (Insert pic)
Victor raised Justin as his own son and their bond was inseparable. Years went by and they ended up buying a house in Graham Washington. This is where Victor spent the last years of his life enjoying barbecuing, racing the boys on their quads with his riding lawn mower, and yelling at the dogs through the screen door. Victor loved to talk story and created forever lasting memories with his family and friends. (Insert pic)
Victor was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers, Billy and David Edwards. Victor is survived by his two sisters, Myrna (Kitty) and Helen; his three children, Chris, Jennifer, Janet; his nine grandchildren, Justin, Elysia, Wyatt, Halana, Nevaeh, Jai, Camryn, Antonio, Aiden; and great grandson, Kaiden; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
