Vicki Custard's Obituary
Vicki Custard, 65, was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on July 12 1950. She passed away at home on Wednesday, August 12th, 2015. She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Custard; her four children Patricia, Rachel, Rebecca and William (Joe); six grandchildren Melissa, William (Chad), Erick, Mariah, Mikyla and Andrew and one great-grandson Dominick (DJ); her three sisters Dixie, Beverly and Patty (JoJo) and her Aunt Norma & Uncle Gary.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Idella and her sister Debra. Vicki was diagnosed with ALS in April 2015 and those who knew Vicki knew that this Firecracker was going to leave this world on her own terms and she did. She refused to allow ALS to take her independence. It may have taken her voice and ability to eat but it was not going to make her bedridden and dependent on machines to survive. She spent the last months of her life as she wanted, with her family that she treasured.
Services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, August 18th at the Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA (253) 584-0252.
