Vibert Murphy's Obituary
Vibert A. Murphy Jr. passed away suddenly on January 1, 2013. He was born in Fukuoka US Army Hospital in Japan on July 5, 1953. Preceded in death by his father Vibert A. Murphy Sr. and survived by mother Masako Murphy and brothers Patrick and Alvarez Murphy.
He attended USAF Itazuke Dependent Schools in Japan, graduating from Hakata High School in 1972. Music and playing the keyboard brought joy to his life. He was an extremely talented keyboard player in his youth and played in several bands while he was a dependent in Japan and Korea. He was most notably remembered here for his heavy cigarette smoking habit. A private viewing and memorial will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home.
