Vernis L Modeste's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts to share our beloved Queen Vernis L. Modeste passed on 08/18/2025 at the age of 49.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 20, 1976 to her late mother and father; Linda and Trevor Modeste. Later they made their way to Lakewood, WA making it home where she attended Tyee Park Elementary and would later graduate from Clover Park High school. She became a wonderful mother of five. She loved her kids and family very much.
Her love and light will continue to shine in the hearts of all that knew her. Memories of her will live on in the countless lives she’s touched. She will be remembered for her love, strength, smile, compassion, laughter and all around beautiful spirit. She was loved by many, though she isn’t with us anymore her presence will forever remain in our hearts. Thank you all for the love and support.
