Verna J. Hoffman's Obituary
Verna J. Hoffman born April 1, 1940 in Faribault, MN, passed away on August 14, 2003 at the age of 63, from cancer. She is preceded in death by her father Bernard Grimm, her stepfather Lewis Call, and sister Judy Grimm.She was a loving mother of 9 children with Andy J. Hoffman: Rich (Lisa) Hoffman, Mike (Cynthia) Hoffman, Steve Hoffman, Gina (Rob) Arnold, Chris Hoffman, Dan (Penny) Hoffman, Becky (Mike) Wachendorf, Sarah (Brad) Mitchell, Theresa Hoffman, and 9 wonderful grandchildren. Also survived by her mother Gladys Call, sisters Joyce (Joe) Imhof, Marilyn (Les) Dillin, and a brother Gordy (Cathy) Grimm, and several nieces and nephews, 2 half sisters and 7 step brothers and sisters.She was a very caring person who worked for Catholic Community Services for many years, taking care of others. She will be greatly missed by many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PBS. She loved the wildlife and gardening documentaries.A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at 2PM in the Mt. View Valley Chapel, with a reception to follow.
