I am very sorry to hear that Vern has gone to be with our Lord. I don't know if you remember me but I worked at Dr. Liao's office. I enjoyed being able to help your family while he was there for his visits. Hearing some of the stories of his life were great. I remember when my husband and I were getting ready to celebrate an anniversary and Vern had told me that he was getting ready to celebrate 70 years with his wonderful wife, I was amazed! I hope and wish that my husband and I are able to celebrate even half of that. Just remember, he is now watching over all of you and he had a wonderfully long life full of happiness. Take care.

I first met the lovely Jennie and Vern Wheeler as a teen on a church history/American history tour back around 1984. Vern and Jennie were both instant friends of our family. My husband and I were later privileged to be sealed in the Seattle LDS temple by Vern Wheeler on July 19, 1991 nearly 19 years ago. Our heartfelt condolences go out to our dear Jennie. Thank you for being such wonderful examples to us all. We love you, and know that Bro.
