Vera M. Williams' Obituary
Vera Williams 1909 B 2008 Vera Jorgensen Williams, 98, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2008. She was born July 26, 1909 in Wilkeson, WA and moved to Tacoma at a very young age. Tacoma is where she spent the rest of her life. Vera graduated from Lincoln High School and most recently worked as a receptionist for a local doctor's office until her retirement. She was a long time member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church which became United Lutheran Church. Vera was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Jorgensen, who passed in 1975 and Richard Williams whom she married in 1987 and who passed in 1997. Vera is survived by her four children: Wayne Jorgensen (Joanne), Lynne deLaubenfels (Allan), Valerie Jorgensen, MD, Susan Ritzen (Craig), grandchildren: Todd Carstens (Julie), Melanie Carstens, Dior Barlow (Dan), Drew Ritzen (Jenny), and four great-grandchildren: Noelle, Matt, Levin and Logan.
