Vera Anne Powers, age 87, of Tacoma, Washington, died October 6, 2011 in her home of 38 years. Born December 26, 1935, of Winner, S. Dakota, Vera was married to Norman Powers, the love of her life, 28 years before his passing. She is survived by her son Lester Ford, grandsons Larry Sifrit and Johnny Ford III, and two great-granddaughters. We all loved her and will cherish the memories forever. Viewing is Saturday, October 15 at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA between 3-4pm. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
