Venicia Wannberg's Obituary
Venicia M. Wannberg Born January 25, 1923, Venicia passed away August 6, 2009. A Stadium HS graduate, Venicia was a lifelong resident of Tacoma.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Henry Wannberg. Her surviving family includes daughter Calley Frey, Palm Springs, brother and sister in-law Buss and Laura Mitchell, San Jose. Also Tom and Cheryl Mitchell, Gig Harbor, Bill Mitchell, Seattle, Mimi Mitchell, from Sammamish, Martin and Carmen Mitchell of Seattle, and Rob Mitchell from San Francisco. Her "second" family, who loved her very much, includes Mike, Dee Dee and Bailey Ness. We want to thank the caring staff at Evergreen Manor in Federal Way who took such good care of Venicia. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Honoring Venicia's wishes, a memorial service will be held in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Cemetery in Lakewood, Tuesday, August 11th at 1pm with reception to follow.
