Velma Clark's Obituary
Let the Little Children Come Unto Him... Velma Floa Clark, born January 14, 1919 in Cull, MO, was one of nine children born to Enoch and Ollie Beach. She was a caring, loving wife to Alfred P. Clark for 58 years until his death in 1999. Together they raised their 4 children, Alfred Jay (Bonnie), Larry David (deceased), Barbara (Bill) McGregor, and Marilyn (Bill) Stull, primarily in Tacoma, WA. Becoming a young military bride before WWII, she also traveled and settled in other parts of the country and world throughout their 20 years of service to the military. Velma's greatest pleasures in life and beautiful evident sustenance centered around her relationship with her Lord Jesus, her loving and genuine ministry to children, her church (Bethesda Baptist), friends, and most of all, her children, her grandchildren Will (Stevie Jo, deceased) Clark, David Clark, Jennifer (Jonn) Moomaw, Jeff (Jessica) James, Drew (Merissa) McGregor, Steve (Shelly) McGregor, Stephany McGregor, and Sera McGregor, Summer (Sean) Tichy, Eli (Heather) Stull, Joshua Stull, Amber Stull, 21 great-grandchildren, and many many children tenderly cared for throughout her life. Her last prayer, spoken in the presence of her daughters just a few days before she went to her Savior was, "Jesus, I love you so much!...Help me to be faithful to the end." She was a picture of faithfulness to the end. We love you and miss you. We'll see you again with Him in Glory. All are invited to a memorial service to be held at Bethesda Baptist Church, 4340 S. L St., Tacoma, on Sunday, March 7,2010 at 1:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Precept Ministries International, 7324 Noah Reid Road, Chattanooga, TN 37422, or Child Evangelism Fellowship, 9244 Pacific Ave #210, Tacoma WA 98444.
