Veda D. Ledbetter-Weaver Time To Cha Cha! 07/25/26- 04/18/09 Veda had a full life, born and educated in Birmingham, England. She came to the states after WWII, when she married. She retired from Ft. Lewis as a budget analyst with 28 1/2 years, Civil Service. Veda was a dedicated ballroom dancer and had taught for Arthur Murray. She was involved in many dance clubs, member of the Tacoma Elks, Eagles, No. 3 Narfe, and many others. She was involved in many pet agencies and foundations also in Tacoma. She traveled from here to England 12 times to see family. She loved gardening and decorating her home for every holiday, but her greatest love was her pets. Her survivors include her adopted girl Lisa, and family of Roy, brother Roy, and nieces and nephews in Tamworth, England. No service per her request. Remembrances in her name be made to Tacoma Humane Society.
