Dear Gladys, David, Joy Marie, Bruce and Bryan,
I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am in the tragic and unthinkable loss of Valerie's precious life. She was such a dear woman, so full of spunk and life and always sporting a beautiful, sincere smile whenever I saw her. I send my sincere condolences to all of you!
I am flooded with warm and fun memories as I reflect over my childhood, being raised across the street from your family. I was your babysitter for the kids and I loved the camping trips with you all. Valerie was always a sweet and dear child then too.
And you, Gladys, were instrumental in caring for and about us when our family was suffering. I will never forget that! I hope now that you would call on me during this time of unspeakable grief if you ever need anything.

Many condolences to the Stargel Family. I have many wonderful childhood memories with Valerie. The family was very important to my spiritual growth as a girl, and always made me feel welcome to and included in their home. We lost touch over the years, but I always think of her fondly whenever I pass through the old neighborhood. Words cannot express how sorry I am for your sudden loss.
