Valencia D. Tronset's Obituary
Del was born on September 9, 1928 in Wheatland, Wyoming. She went to be with her savior on January 25, 2015.
Her parents moved their family to Tacoma in 1936 and Del resided here the rest of her life. She graduated from Stadium High School. In 1953 she married Maurice Tronset. They were married 59 years, and had three children, Allan, Gordon, and Andrea. Del worked in the Puyallup School District for 30 years, retiring in 1994.
Del’s first love was her family. She was a wonderful mother. She also had a love of music and passed that on to her children, especially Andrea and her daughter Lexi Bryant. Both of them were outstanding violinists and one of Del’s greatest joys was watching them perform.
Del enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking and back packing. She like to travel and made several overseas trips. Gardening and reading were important hobbies for her.
She is survived by her sister Val Rober, brothers, Wayne and Cecil Bures, sons Allan and Gordon, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The last eight years of mom’s life were spent in Hermie’s Adult Family Home. The family would like to thank Hermie and her husband Greg for the wonderful care provided to our mother.
All of us loved Del so much! We will miss you mom. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 10:00 a.m. in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Memorial park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
