Tzzy M. Wong's Obituary
Tzzy Ming Wong, loving husband & father, architect, and “project car” enthusiast, passed away Thursday evening March 7th, 2024 in Parkland, Washington.
There was never a restaurant bill he wouldn’t fight to pay for, never turned down a favor to help his family, and had trouble saying “no” to any work that came across his desk. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and generosity, and will be sorely missed by all his family and friends.
Tzzy was born in Bandung, Indonesia and was the youngest child with three older sisters who looked after him like he was their own son. He moved to the United States for college with limited knowledge of the language and place. Like a fish takes to water, he earned a Bachelor of Architecture while listening to rock n’ roll and traveling the country in his various Volkswagen cars. He was proud of the professional work he accomplished which includes high schools, fire stations, and smaller residential & commercial projects around the Puget Sound area.
He is dearly missed by his wife Daisy Wong, his children Chris & Katherine Wong, and his sisters Sioe Fen, Sioe Fang, and Sioe Fei.
We invite friends and family to celebrate Tzzy’s life at Life Center Rainier Campus 17708 28th Ave E, Tacoma, WA 98445, Thursday April 25th, 2024 at 4pm.
We love you dad, you can put your pencils down now and rest.
