Ting-Ling Alice Yeh's Obituary
Ting-Ling Alice Yeh left us unexpectedly due to a heart attack in her home on October 31, 2018 at the age of 70.
Born in China and raised in Taiwan, she immigrated to the United States for graduate school where she met her husband, Dr. Hsushi Yeh, and eventually settled in Tacoma, Washington.
In her nearly 40-year residence in Tacoma, Alice touched many lives as she was actively involved in the community. She helped her husband establish the first retina practice in Tacoma and raised four children. With her endless energy, she loved sharing her joy for life with others, most recently leading a daily stretching class and organizing various trips and activities. Line dancing and hiking in the great outdoors were among her many interests.
She will be dearly missed by her many family and friends all over the world. She is survived by her husband Hsushi; four children Michelle, Jessica, Rodney, and Alexis; and 2 grandchildren.
A funeral service for Alice will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, November 10 in the Valley Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home, Lakewood, WA, with reception immediately following.
