I first meet Tom when I join the Madrona Links Men's club in 2006 after I retired. He took me under his wing and show me the ropes of playing with the Wednesday morning senior group. I think it was because my first name was Tom and we were both veterans of the Marine Corp. We became good friends and shared stories of our service in the Corp and travels to Arizona. We always enjoyed a Gin and Tonic after our matches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I always think of Tom when I pass the Paradise RV park on Union Hills Drive down here in Surprise, AZ.
