Thomas Pranger's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dad, Tom Pranger.
Tom lived a full life—built on hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family. He spent 39 years at Boeing, where he worked his way up to become a leader of people. He took pride in what he did and expected the best from those around him.
Outside of work, Tom didn’t sit still for long. Whether he was on a tractor, building a ukelele in his woodshop, working on a hot rod, or out hunting and enjoying the outdoors, he was always creating, fixing, or improving something.
He was also known for his quick wit and sense of humor—always ready with a comment that could catch you off guard and make you laugh.
Tom was the patriarch of a large family, rooted in faith and love. He is survived by his sisters, Jackie and Erlene, his loving wife Peggy of 42 years, and his children Jami, Travis, and Todd, who will carry forward the values and lessons he instilled in each of us.
We will miss him deeply, but we also know that what he built—in his family, his work, and his life—lives on in all of us.
A service will be held at:
Mountain View Funeral Home - Aspen Chapel
4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Tacoma, WA 98499

Tom wasn’t one for formalities, so dress comfortably. A Good Guys T-shirt, Seahawks gear, or a Hawaiian shirt would be right in his wheelhouse.
A reception will follow at:

1pm – 4pm in the Banquet Room
Museum Passes will be complimentary to those that wish to tour the museum
