Thomas Maldonado, Jr.'s Obituary
Thomas “Tommy” Maldonado Jr., 57, peacefully went to be with Jesus on June 14th, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Thomas and Petra on September 10th, 1958. Tommy, born profoundly Deaf, attended and later graduated from the Illinois School for the Deaf. After graduating in 1977, he studied and became an Auto Body Technician, which he did excellently for 39 years.
He loved video gaming, movies, bowling in Deaf league, cars, airbrushing, and car repair of every kind. But most of all Tommy loved his family and friends. He was generous in gesture, always ready with a smile, hug or handshake. He was a member of Champions Centre in Tacoma and served with the Deaf ministry team whenever possible. Thomas leaves behind his mother Petra, his siblings Sonia, Mary, Miguel, Antonio, Olga, Sylvia, and Sandra. His Nieces Liz and Katrina, Nephews Robert, JT, Nick, Miguel Jr. and Christian, his in-law buddies Angel, Manny, Glenn, Greg and Heather. His grandnieces Mia and Emily, his grandnephew Sejong, His brother in heart Blaine and a multitude of others who knew and loved him.
Thomas is now reunited in heaven with his father Thomas Sr. his son James, grandmothers Altemia and Lela along with many others who have gone before. Tommy is greatly missed.
"When I awake in heaven, I will be fully satisfied for I will see you face to face." Psalm 17:15
