Thomas Maldonado's Obituary
Celebrating A Life
Thomas Maldonado Sr. was born September 17th, 1928 in Utuado, Puerto Rico, son of Domingo Maldonado and Innocencia Montalvo. At age 5, he discovered his talent for the guitar and played ever since entertaining professionally and informally to the delight of all who were privileged to hear him. He was a master chef creating delectable dishes for his family and friends. Foremost of all he would tell you he was a Jesus follower, a disciple of Christ, faithful to the call God placed on his life. He may not have heeded it early in his life but many who have grown to know and love him know that he turned to God 30 years ago and never looked back! A changed man transformed by God's grace and mercy! Not perfect but forgiven and pursuing God's will for his life. Till his last day here on earth he shared his beloved Savior and Redeemer and the hope that is in Him with all he met. His prayer was that they would hear of this miracle and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. On April 22nd, 2011, our beloved husband, father, brother, and friend departed this earthly realm to be with our Lord and receive his glorious reward in Heaven. He leaves behind his wife Petra of 53 years, His children Olga, Sylvia, Sonia, Thomas Jr, Mary, Miguel, Antonio; his grandchildren Liz, Brian, Steven, Robert, Joshua, Nicholas, Katrina, Michael, Jayson; great-grandchildren Sejong, Mia, and Emily and siblings Vicente and Adelaida. We will miss you but we rejoice with you at your homecoming. Until we see you again! Love you Papa!
