Thomas Leandro Mackeda's Obituary
Thomas Leandro Mackeda, 75, of Tacoma passed away unexpectedly December 12, 2016. Born July 1, 1941 in Tacoma, WA, Tom worked at Fick Foundry for many years before retiring as a naval shipyard supervisor. Tom is survived by his two daughters Debbie Mackeda and Dixie Seeley (Scott). He is also survived by his grandchildren Däan Sherrod (Megan Blom) and Morgan Cooper (Robert). He is preceded in death by his father Tony Mackeda and mother Mary Mackeda. As a Tacoma native, he loved all the features of the great Northwest. Visitation will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Immediately following visitation there will be a private graveside service for immediate family members only. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of his daughter's fight against breast cancer (ww5.komen.org).
