Thomas Leighton Link's Obituary
Thomas Leighton Link passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at Inova Fairfax Hospital of Parkinson's Disease complications.
Mr. Link was born in Tacoma, Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Edith Link. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy of 49 years; his son Ryan Link (Rebecca), his daughter Shannon Godwin (Kelly); his sisters Sharon Waddell, Nadine Link, and Kathy Lynch (Michael) and many nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Clover Park High School and the University of Puget Sound. He is an alumnus of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. At the time of his retirement, he was the Assistant Chief of the National Guard.
Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel on Saturday April 26, 2014, from 1PM to 2PM, followed directly by a funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA) Falls Church, Virginia.
